Posted by: Avenueswithoutlimit in cards, inspiration, tutorials, videos, YouTube
Welcome as we count down our 12 days of creativity! On day 6 we are concentrating on using our stash already on hand as well as getting the kids involved in making their own one-of-a-kind gift items. So today is one of those days where you will pull your products and let the kids get involved in making their own crafty gifts.
Welcome to day 6!
Are you ready to begin?
Let's start with an adorable ornament courtesy of hostess with the mostess that is very easy for the kids to make. I love the faces and hats on these little guys. So much fun to make!
Another kewl idea is to have the kids decorate their own envelopes for their wish lists to Santa, courtesy of Family Fun.
The gingerbread house is always a favorite in our house. Why not make one that will last a bit longer. Here’s a great idea using Cork. Isn't that fun?
It’s a great way to get the kids involved by letting them make their own gifts for friends. Jewelry is always a hit so how about a Chinese Staircase Bracelet? Here’s a great video to get you started. This will provide hours of enjoyment. :)
Thank you so much for stopping by again today. I truly enjoy your comments. Did I tell you how much yet??? Well I truly love your comment!!
Don’t forget the blog hop and Want2scrap $25.00 gift certificate giveaway!
Have a great day,
Michele

Welcome back for another installment of the our 12 Days of Creative Christmas!!
Today we are featuring a wonderful site that offers all the inspiration you will need. I stalk . . I mean frequent this site quite a bit but, in my defense, the start of the holiday season just wouldn’t be complete without partaking of one of Shimelle’s awesome Christmas classes. I’ve had the pleasure of doing her Journal Your Christmas class for the second time this year and I just love them.
Don’t forget to check out what all this creative chica has to offer. You can watch videos, sign up for classes, and even download some freebies along the way.
Just one great example is this fabulous tag garland of hers! Isn’t that just delish? You really need to check her Christmas tag garland tutorial out.
There really is so much to enjoy on Shimelle’s site. She also has free downloads every now and again and right now she has a great desktop wallpaper, A Christmas Manifesto to help you get into the Christmas spirit.
Isn’t that fabulous?! She has this available in red or green. Not only can you use it on your computer but you can also print it out as she did and put it in a frame . . perfect for holiday décor.
I hope you’ve enjoyed your inspiration for today. I also want to thank you so much for the lovely comments and feedback on the site. I read all of the comments and I appreciate all of the new followers as well.

Hi everybody!
I hope you’ve been busy being inspired this week! We have enjoyed bringing you this roundup in celebration of the 12 days of Creating . . . . and with that . . . .
Welcome to our third day of creating!
Lately I have been big into recycling and repurposing. Well today is no different. I found this fabulous video tutorial on the Martha Stewart site. They were making these yummy gold and glittering magazine trees!
The best part is they are made with magazines!! Yep see for yourself how you can take an ordinary magazine and turn it into something fabulous. Check out the Christmas tree tutorial now.

Next while I’m on a decorating kick is a fabulous paper wreath by Lisa of The Red Thread. The best part is it’s lightweight so it won’t be heavy to hang.

Another Christmas tree awaits! I snuck this one in didn’t I?? I couldn’t resist. I love this idea! Let Kristen of Domestifluff show you how to make this creation!
