Today we are featuring a wonderful site with tons of inspiring ideas. I’m going to pull some of my favorite tutorials and ideas from their Christmas section but if you have time, you really need to check out what the rest of Cheeky Magpie has to offer! You will NOT be disappointed.
First up is a magnificent chandelier ornament made out of paper and bling! Isn’t this fantastic??
Not only will you be inspired by this lovely ornament, but you can also learn how to make this on your own!
You can even download an SVG cut file to utilize or you can download the print file. I’m loving this idea and can’t wait to make a few of my own. What a fantastic idea!!
So visit the Cheeky Magpie site for more information and a tutorial on how to make this lovely project.
You know I love to upcycle these days and this other project by the Cheeky Magpie demonstrates just how to accomplish this. Check it out!
This candy container uses the packaging from Prima! Also various cut files and some glittered words, bling, and flowers were used to create a very lovely packaging.
You are just itching to make one right??

That’s not all! If you’ve ever used alcohol inks, you know just how versatile it is. . . but this next example takes the cake!
If you are anything like me, I like to change it up a bit from one Christmas to another. Well now you can. Notice the beautiful pink glow to the lights above? Well, those were originally WHITE lights! No kidding!!
You can find out how to take your white Christmas lights and tint them to match your holiday décor. The best part is it is reversible. Click the lights tutorial for more information!

and last but certainly not least is:
the most adorable cone Christmas trees you’ve ever seen! I love how the pattern shines through the light and the cutout lets the light through. So very pretty! The bling just gives it that extra something. LOVE IT!!

Jackie from the Hybrid Chick is sharing how she makes her pinecone ornaments.
I love that she used hybrid techniques to make this adorable little ornament. The colors are just precious and would also make an excellent addition to your gift packaging this year!
The next thing I would like to inspire you are a pair of beautiful cards by Nina of Nina B. Designs. She was asked to case one of her very own cards for a challenge. That would be so difficult!! Here is her original card:
Love how she made the stamped ornament dimensional! The stitching and the bow are just beautiful. Love everything about this card.
